BabyBusiness ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you use BabyBusiness, we may collect:

• Account information — your email address, used to create and manage your account.
• Baby and tracking data — information you enter about your baby (name, birth date, gender) and daily logs (sleep, feeding, diapers, growth, health, etc.).
• Device information — basic app usage data stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and sync your baby tracking data across devices.
• To authenticate you securely via email/password or Google Sign-In.
• To enable family sharing features when you choose to invite others.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and optionally synced to our cloud backend (Supabase) when you are signed in. All data is associated with your authenticated account and protected by row-level security policies.

4. Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google account data. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

BabyBusiness is designed to be used by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app tracks data about infants as entered by their caregivers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, secure authentication tokens, and row-level access controls to protect your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
